The art of eight limbs

What is Muay Thai?

Muay Thai is a striking martial art from Thailand. Often called the “art of eight limbs,” it uses punches, kicks, knees and elbows along with footwork, balance and defensive movement. The aim in class is to learn sound technique, then connect those movements with control and intention.

01 / Striking

Build your technique

Practice the mechanics of punches, kicks, knees and elbows, with attention to stance, balance and timing.

02 / Movement

Move with purpose

Use footwork and positioning to create space, defend and put combinations together more effectively.

03 / Fitness

Challenge your body

Active striking practice offers a full-body workout that can support endurance, coordination and strength.

Start where you are

A place to start. Room to progress.

You do not need to arrive in peak shape or with prior kickboxing experience. Beginners can focus on foundational movement and technique; returning students can refine their timing, combinations and conditioning.

People come to Muay Thai for different reasons—fitness, practical self-defense skills, a new challenge or a martial art they can keep studying. The program gives you space to work toward your own goals while training with others.

Is Muay Thai a full-body workout?

Training involves repeated strikes, movement and coordination, so it can be a demanding full-body activity. The experience will depend on the class and your own pace; you do not need to be in top shape before getting started.
